All three panelists are represented in Net Works, as they investigate Europe as a network of nation-states and solidarity in different ways: Parwana Amiri – refugee human rights activist, who wrote a series of letters from Moria (refugee camp on Lesbos) that has experienced extremely dire conditions for people seeking refuge in Europe; Stefan Frankenberger, who has initiated Metropa – a Supermetro Network that anticipates a border-free pan-European metro system, and Quentin Brzustowski, member of Lesvos Solidarity, one of the most active NGOs taking care of refugees on Lesbos and partner of KARA AGORA.
Together we want to discuss what Europe as a network of nation-states means in times of crises and how we could define the future of solidarity in a border-free Europe.
